Scenario 1: Preventive Maintenance of Aging Oil Pipes

Pain point: After 5 years of use, the original rubber tube generally cracks/hardens, leading to slight leakage.

Solution: It is recommended to replace the oil pipe every 60000 miles or 5 years with an upgraded ozone resistant chloroprene rubber layer.

Scenario 2: Leakage Emergency Repair for Steering Fluid

Phenomenon: The power pump makes abnormal noise/the steering wheel becomes heavier, and red oil stains appear on the ground (characteristic of ATF fluid).

Operation: Stop the machine immediately! The double O-ring sealing design of this oil pipe can effectively prevent pipe leakage and can be quickly replaced within 30 minutes. Warning: Leakage can cause cavitation damage to the pump body.

Product Operate Guide

1. Safety preparation

→ Cold car operation! Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and release the pressure in the steering system (turn the wheels left and right three times after starting to turn off the engine)

→ Prepare the oil container and wear goggles

2. Disassemble the old oil pipe

→ Use wire harness pliers to loosen the pipe clamp, and use a double wrench to unscrew the pump/cylinder end interface (anti slip teeth)

Immediately block the open port with a sealing plug (to prevent dust from entering)

3. Install a new oil pipe

→ Remove the dust cover from the pipe mouth and install it aligned with the color ring markings (blue ring=pump end/red ring=cylinder end)

→ Tighten the joint by hand first, and then lock it with a torque wrench (standard: 18-22 Nm)

4. Oil injection and exhaust

Add new steering fluid to the MAX line, start the engine slowly and turn left and right in the full direction 5 times

→ Add fluid until the liquid level is stable, check for zero leakage at the pipe opening (verified by wiping with a tissue)

Mandatory requirement: Four wheel alignment must be done after installation! Failure to exhaust can cause abnormal steering noise
